CRISTOBAL SEPULVEDA

Born and raised in Chile, Cristobal Sepulveda resides in the New York and currently is in the pursuit his Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics at the Queens College, The City University of New York. Cristobal started Castrike Designs as a hobby in a way to express his enthusiasm for graphic design and web development. Later on, he joined forces with his dad to start Fourcce Connection Inc. a business dedicated mainly to Closed Circuit TV, Pre-wiring and Home Automation..

He started his computer-savvy career during High School as he was considered a "pc-gamer" and took classes like photoshop, web development and programming in visual basic and java. During these years, he started to do graphic design and building simple static websites for small businesses as a free lancer.

After graduating High School, Cristobal joined Nassau Community College in the search for his career path. Quite undecided on which route to take, between a graphic designer or a computer scientist, he undertook classes within each field and thanks to the tools NCC gave Cristobal, he decided to become a computer scientist and to keep up with graphic design as a hobby. During his last two years at NCC, Cristobal participated in many extracurricular activities such as being part of Math & Computer Science club, Chess Club, became the parliamentarian of the student government and the Association for Computing Machinery while participating in their regional intercollegiate programming contest. Moreover, He was a member of the National Scholars Honor Society and he received the award of Aaron Seligman Scholarship. He graduated with a Cum Laude Associates of Science in Computer Science.

Afterward, Cristobal continued his education at Queens College. Here, he faced many challenges as he decided to declare two majors, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, a minor in physics and to continue his work with the student body as the President of the Association for Computing Machinery.
